Gravure printing plates are made up of pits and the surface of the printing plate that corresponds to the source images. During printing, the ink is loaded into the pits, the ink on the printing plate's surface is scraped off by a squeegee, and there is a particular amount of pressure contact between the printing plate and the substrate, and the ink in the pits is transferred to the substrate to finish the printing. With the advancement of gravure printing technology, there are more and more applications in the field of decoration, such as wood grain, stone grain, other textured melamine decorative paper and board decorative materials, are becoming more widespread both at home and abroad.
After 10 years of development,melamine paper board has been accepted by Vietnamese. It also formed a complete industry chain in Vietnam (plain board--impregnation--lamination).
